I just found out about Joel over the last month and he is truly the industry's best kept secret. I have been looking for someone who will truly take you behind the veil (scenes) and really share the secrets to becoming a master persuader. Joel is the mentor I have been seeking over the past couple of years. This video has such powerful takeaways that I took pages and pages of notes. Thank you Joel Bauer for sharing your gift.

I think the key point of this case in that your customers have to feel fantastic all the time. Since check in until check out. Since log in until log out. And this is easier to apply on small companies rather than on big companies. (response to Oskar).

Hi martin,

You send me this article a month ago. It was until today I manage to take a deep look at it..believe it or not, they are exactly what I am thinking in my head these few days. It is like Jay have got a SUPERMAN X RAY sight that look inside my head.

"Our business is the greatest /ultimate investment we must make", cos it will generate stream of income for unlimited time when cultivated & took care well.I pour massive energy , time and money into my business..

The problem is ...I tend to build a castle that trap me inside my business rather than a vehicle that carries me to freedom of life , you know wht I mean rite? :). I got no time to share with my family (mom, wife & kid).. feel so sad .

Can wait to get a copy of the book

God bless you.

Hi, I don't know where exactly on this blog I could open a topic for a discussion so I will do it here since I would like to have one.

I would like to invite readers of Sticking point solution to discuss the 4th chapter here, "Are you stuck with erratic business volume?"

I have difficulty in grasping completely the strategy underlying the example that illustrates it, on the beginning of the chapter. It is said that Colonial Penn Life Insurance was trying to snatch a market share (to play the offense) from competitors before they decided to change the strategy. After it turned out to be ineffective, Colonial Penn executives started to assume the role of defense. Sounds nice but how exactly did they do it? What does that mean? What is the strategy pattern out of which the act ensues? If somebody could offer to explain pls. It says here that they "started their own organization, so that they became their own captive clients." Can somebody explain what does that mean and how can you bring money in your company by becoming a client of your own? And what has that got to do with "attracting senior population." What is the key of the strategy? My IQ is around 130 but I still can't figure this out. Can somebody help me with this out.

Thank you in advance
